Reading List: Understanding Whole Life Insurance and Beyond

Maybe you have been intrigued by a topic on this site, and have decided to read more. It’s hard to know where to start, especially when there is a lot of material out there that is misleading, or even just plain wrong. This list goes way beyond understanding whole life insurance, but rather spreads into several fields. I consider all of these important: Understanding more areas helps you understand each area that much better.

Here is an (expanding) list of books that I have read, and personally recommend to you for their insight. Obviously, that does not mean that I am giving a wholesale endorsement of every sentence in every book. I provide this because there is something to be gained from reading this material. No one is perfect, and authors of books are not exempt from this human limitation. If you are looking for advice on something extremely specific, please reach out and I will be happy to help if I can.

Please note that some books touch on many topics, and may be duplicated in different sections! This is a conscious decision and not an error.
